May Platform Updates: What's New in the OptSpot Hub

OT
OptSpot Team

Two updates inside the Hub this month that give you more control over your loyalty program and customer experience tools.

Minimum Spend for Loyalty Points

If you’re running OptSpot’s loyalty program at your wash, you can now customize the minimum purchase amount a customer needs to reach before earning a loyalty point.

This defaults to $0 (no minimum), so nothing changes unless you want it to. But if your wash has different package tiers and you want to make sure loyalty points only apply to certain purchases, your account manager can adjust this for you.

Reach out to your account manager to get this configured.

Self-Service oCard Creation

oCards can now be created directly in the Hub. No manual process. No waiting on support. You do it yourself.

What’s an oCard? It’s one of the most useful tools in OptSpot for creating positive customer experiences on the spot. An oCard lets you issue a free wash (anywhere from one wash up to 20) instantly. No cash. No discount codes. Just a clean, simple way to take care of a customer.

Operators use oCards for:

  • Customer service recovery. Something went wrong. Make it right on the spot.
  • Relationship building. Hand a wash to a local business owner, a new neighbor, or someone you just want to invite to your wash.
  • Inviting new guests. A no-friction way to get someone through your tunnel for the first time.

It’s been part of onboarding from the beginning. Now you have full control over it without needing to contact support.

If you’re on an older account and don’t see this option in the Hub, contact your account manager to get it enabled.
