July Webinar Replay: The Car Wash Fall Playbook
The next 90 days will determine what your revenue looks like this winter.
Summer is scattered — people traveling, routines gone, kids staying up late. Fall is when routines come back. School starts, schedules lock in, and people are ready to build new habits. That’s your window to make washing their car one of them.
In this month’s webinar, Josh Taylor walks through the fall playbook: three zones, each with a specific job.
What’s covered
Zone 1: The Reset (August) Back to school is your first opportunity. Partner with local schools to give teachers a free wash — drop codes in goodie baskets, or set up a sign at the parent drop-off line on the first day. Use digital fundraising to partner with football teams and booster clubs. The goal of all of it is the same: get phone numbers so you can follow up.
Zone 2: The Habit Builder (September) This is when you convert those new contacts into members. Fall is the best time to push memberships — people are in routines, they’ll actually use it, and they’ll feel the value before winter hits. A member who shows up three times in their first 45 days is far less likely to churn when it gets cold.
Zone 3: Winter Protection (October) The haunted tunnel isn’t just a fun event — it’s a data collection engine dressed up as a party. Pre-sell tickets, add the codes to your text club, and use the momentum to build list growth heading into the slow season. Even if you don’t do a haunted tunnel, a Halloween basket giveaway or an on-site scan-to-win drives the same result.
The operators who wait until the holidays to start planning always end up scrambling. Start now.
